Applied on a '75 Varsh Samvidhan Ke' postcard bearing the Atal Bihari Vajpayee stamp.
Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla of the Indian Air Force was selected as the Mission Pilot and Mission Specialist for Axiom Mission 4 (AX-4), launched on 25 June 2025 aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon. He became the second Indian in space after Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma (1984) and the first Indian to board the International Space Station (ISS). Shukla's mission represented a milestone in India's human spaceflight programme ahead of the Gaganyaan mission. Mumbai GPO issued this special cancellation on the day of launch, joining other post offices across India in commemorating this historic event.
