This is a Special cancellation issued by Mumbai Head Post Office, Mumbai, Maharashtra, PIN 400001, dated 26 June 2025, to commemorate the successful docking of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) with the International Space Station (ISS). The rectangular cancellation design features a line-art depiction of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft docking at the ISS, with bilingual text in Hindi and English. Applied on a 75 Varsh Samvidhan Ke (75 Years of the Constitution) commemorative post card bearing a 50 paise Atal Bihari Vajpayee imprint stamp.
Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) launched on 25 June 2025 and docked with the International Space Station (ISS) the following day on 26 June 2025. The mission was carried out by Axiom Space aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft. The crew included Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla of India, who became the first Indian to visit the ISS, along with crew members from the USA, Poland, and Hungary. The docking marked a milestone in India's participation in human spaceflight programmes. Mumbai Head Post Office issued this Special cancellation on the day of the successful docking to mark this historic event.
