The circular commemorative cancellation features an intricate line-art emblem of interconnected people forming a circular network around the core message "LOCAL TOUCH GLOBAL REACH". The surrounding circular band contains the dual-language inscription "विश्व डाक दिवस – जन सेवा डाक सेवा • WORLD POST DAY - POST FOR PEOPLE". Below the circle, the postmark displays the date "09-10-2025" and the postal location "पणजी 403001 PANAJI".
Celebrated globally on October 9, World Post Day marks the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 in Bern, Switzerland. Issued through the Panaji Head Post Office (403001) during National Postal Week, this postmark emphasizes the vital role of postal networks in connecting local communities to global communication channels and honoring postal service workers.
