The special cancellation illustrates a Block of Four postage stamps framed together with perforations, complete with margin color alignment stars (CMYK printing process indicators) on the side and a miniature postmark stamped across one corner. The base inscription states "चार का ब्लॉक : डाक-टिकट प्रेमी का आनंद / Block of Four : Philatelist's Delight", "पणजी 403001 PANAJI", and the cancellation date "08.10.2025".
Issued during National Postal Week / Philately Day celebrations by India Post through the Panaji Head Post Office, this postmark honors the hobby of stamp collecting itself. In philately, a "Block of Four" (a 2×2 grid of unseparated stamps retaining intact margins and printers' color registration marks) represents a classic, prized item for collectors. The cancellation celebrates technical printing heritage, collector culture, and postal art traditions.
